Hey there! I’m Ignacio, a 25-year-old electrical engineer. My passion lies in energy, power systems, and IoT. I’m eager to contribute to innovative projects that help improve society.

I have hands-on experience in renewable energy and the Chilean electrical market, and I recently worked on a large-scale green hydrogen project with over 1 GW of wind power production as a 4-month intern at CISC SpA. Currently, I’m working on my thesis as a project engineer, leading a real-world telemetry project for a client. Wolke SpA gave me the opportunity to manage all phases of this project—always under the supervision of a senior engineer—which integrates wireless power transfer through induction heating. My role involves both the technical and managerial aspects, from system design to implementation, ensuring smooth operation and reliability. I’ve also contributed to product design from an electrical engineering perspective, refining solutions to make them more efficient and practical.

Additionally, I have experience in the commercial team, working on project evaluation and pre-sales that require technical knowledge of the energy, mining, and IoT sectors.

One of my core beliefs is that teamwork is at the heart of every successful project. Playing rugby for most of my life taught me that great things happen when a team works together toward a shared goal. In engineering, the same principle applies—collaboration and open-mindedness lead to the best solutions. I value ethics, teamwork, and humility because I recognize that there’s always more to learn, and growth comes from working with others who challenge and inspire me.

Outside of engineering, I’m an adventurer at heart. I’ve gone paragliding, and one of my dreams is to get a pilot’s license someday. I also enjoy playing football and going to the gym.

I’m looking for a long-term opportunity in the energy sector, electrical engineering in mining or IoT applications. Ideally in a company that’s committed to make a real impact.
