Homo Deus - A Brief History of Tomorrow is a thought-provoking book by Yuval Noah Harari that explores the future of humankind in the 21st century. It delves into what humanity is striving for, how the world works, and the challenges we face from the perspective of an anthropologist. Harari examines the possibilities of where we are headed as a species, touching on topics like artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and the evolution of society.

I started reading this book on February 20, 2025, and ended reading it in May of the same year, the day after I got my electrical engineering degree. It provides a compelling vision of the future and raises important questions about the direction of humanity.

The multiple possibilities that are explored are fascinating, from creating a new species using genetics to create superhumans to a world that is easier to live in if you are able to pay a highly skilled IA assistant. Interesting point of views of the possibilities of science and how they might get to affect future generations to come.
